The safety of our employees is our highest priority. We do our uttermost to follow all the established up-to-date safety precautions and regulations within the scope of the contemporary construction industry in order to insure the well-being of our employees. On the management level, we work very closely with our clients, suppliers and auxiliary business partners to take safety into account during the project planning process and ensuring that our contractors are pre-qualified for safety. We emphasize site preparation; levelling the ground, removing all debris from the construction site, marking electric, gas & water pipelines etcetera. Designated and well-trained banksmen are always on duty during our construction hours. We always strive to ensure that we are using sturdy scaffolding that is inspected according to regulations. Because of the nature of our works & areas of expertise, we also weigh greatly the importance of fall protection, as we deem it as one of the greatest potential safety hazard to our construction teams. As stated above, we follow all the contemporary safety protocols in this subject (including all the articles of Subpart M – Fall Protection Covers). Our harnesses, belts & tertiary equipment are regularly inspected, repaired or else deposed of- and replaced in a timely manner.
All of our equipment, worksites and workstations (etc.) undergo regular safety inspections & QC. Not only does our staff routinely participate in safety courses but in order to raise awareness, as well as to improve our safety arrangements, we also regularly hold toolbox meetings with our workers in which they can voice their opinions about the environment and safety measures that have been implemented at the constructions site.
Furthermore; in comparison to other construction companies, it is relatively easy for our workers to get in touch with our safety experts, administrators and even the members of the board of directors in order to give direct feedback about the health & safety measures that have been put in place. Consequently; as a company, we are proud of our safety record.
Banksman
Despite the prudence and best efforts of our experienced crane drivers, our company is aware of the fact that crane drivers at large, and notably tower-crane operators might not always have clear visibility of the indicated loading area. Consequently; in contemporary construction industry and civil engineering, banksmen are employed to ensure the safety of the construction personnel, as well as safeguarding the smooth and efficient operation of tower cranes. In order to achieve this goal; banksmen use a specific radio link and a predetermined system of hand signals to direct the crane movements from the point of loading and unloading. In addition to that, our banksman use whistles to warn any workers under the load as its passing them by in the air, as well as issuing whistle-warnings to any employees’ passing- or working nearby as the load is being lowered to the pit. Pramit Construction Filial employs designated and well-trained banksmen that are always on duty during our construction hours. Our company has been complimented by our clients on several occasions for the vigilance of our banksman and the compliance of our construction teams with the directives of the banksmen.
